Ever since they were just young kids running around with their friends in the old neighbourhood, studying hard in school and playing all day long without a care in the world, people dream of a bright future as they fulfil their destiny and work their way to the top of their respective careers. There are philanthropists and caregivers out there who have a genuine desire to help other people out and that is why they grow up to become doctors saving the lives of countless patients in hospitals and clinics around the world. There are also those who want to earn as much money as they can, live in the lap of luxury and enjoy the finer things in life and that is why they become businessmen who start their own company and empire from the ground up.
And then there are brave, zealous and selfless soldiers who are willing to lay down their life and sacrifice everything that they have in order to protect their motherland, countrymen as well as their friends and family from foreign invaders and terrorists who are threatening to throw the whole world into a constant state of turmoil, chaos and anarchy. Although a lot of these modern-day heroes have undergone training to sharpen their skills and make them ready to survive all sorts of dangers and perils that they will encounter on the battlefield, it is a sad reality and cold, hard truth of life that many of these soldiers perish in the line of duty. And that is why the repatriation of deceased soldiers should be prioritized by the heads of military so that they can be given a proper burial in their homeland.
Aside from covering the repatriation costs of their fallen comrades, the top brass of the different branches of military like the army, air force, navy, homeland security and coastguard should be given enough financial compensation for the services that they have rendered. In line with this, war veterans and wounded soldiers should be given the chance to get back up on their feet and live a normal life with their friends and family because the unspeakable horrors that they endured have scarred them for life not just physically and mentally but also psychologically and emotionally as well. Therefore, they should be given proper health care and support by the government so that they can get their lives back together once again.
After dealing with the repatriation of deceased body of every soldier who sacrificed their life as well as taking care of all the needs of war veterans and wounded heroes when they get back home, the military top brass should also help their families cope with the heavy loss and the dramatic changes that transpired in their life. Last but not the least, world leaders should push and strive for world peace so that they can finally lay down their arms, stop waging war against each other, heal the wounds of their countries and help the people enjoy a good life and bright future.
